Wood Burned Spread Love & Kindness

This natural live edge wood slice was burned by hand and features lips holding a dainty flower. I made this piece because I wanted to make something that symbolized love. I wanted to show what speaking love and kindness to others would look like. In life, we are often quick to judge and speak our opinions to others instead of listening. Maybe we could help those around us by just being there and listening to them? Maybe we could build them up by speaking words of positivity? Try it today! I think you’ll be surprised how much we really need each other. This piece does not come with a hanger on the back. You will need to purchase an easel or reach out to me and I can attach a hanger on the back.

How it’s made

I use a hot wire pen to burn this image onto the wood slice. No laser printers here! Rest assured that hard work and love was put into your piece. I use a high gloss polyacrylic finish to seal the wood. This will protect the piece from general wear and tear, but it will not protect it from water, sun exposure, or dropping.
